Role: Freelance Graphic Designer Medium: Autodesk Sketchbook About: I collaborated with a friend to redesign her YouTube channel's logo. My original sketches took inspiration from the pink and purple colors and drip effect seen in the older design. I then experimented with cartoon and graffiti styles that reflected a genuine feeling and my friend's own unique interests and style. I ultimately went for a more retro 3D theme that could stand out even as a minimized profile picture on YouTube. Finally, I made the drip effect more prominent with pink and purple added in as a gradient. |

Role: Freelance Graphic Designer Medium: Autodesk Sketchbook, GIMP About: Daughters of the King Academy is a Christian women's ministry that utilizes social media, community training, and key women speakers to promote Biblical and faith-based empowerment. As a freelance graphic designer, I developed a series of logos for the organization to use for online and printed branding. With minimal yet regal inspiration, I designed a crown-shaped visual with a subtle heart shape in the center to symbolize the ministry's mission that looks to God's fatherly love. I also focused developing the logo's responsiveness as a design easily recognizable as a whole and in individual pieces. |
